The pace of EU-level regulation gathered force in 2013, continually expanding and changing.  As a boutique law firm led by senior London securitisation lawyers, Raines & Co did not use a full-time knowledge lawyer.   So, in 2014 Marke Raines began an ambitious, computer-based EU regulatory know-how system, which grew in scale with Brexit and again with the November 2024 bifurcation of UK securitisation regulation into PRA and FCA regimes.  This project developed into a powerful regulatory know-how tool, deployed in advising other law firms and their clients, in publications and in client training.
